My career is based in the graphic design industry. I love working with people, images and text, and getting their designs to reflect their business, goals, etc. My design process helps individuals identify who they are, their uniqueness and intention for their business. Gaining an understanding of their goals helps me create visuals that convey an effective message, represents the personality of the business and a memorable identity. I combine my unique skills, experience, and sense of aesthetics to any design solution. I provide freedom and ease in creating an identity and marketing collateral that supports businesses vision and growth. My method and style of creating, listening, and collaborating with the client builds trust and a positive working relationship. I consider design an applied art of arranging image, text and color to communicate a message or facilitate understanding. I subordinate design to a purpose that serves the client and the audience: design is goal and user oriented.
As I look back at my extensive experience at creating art I have come to realize that all of my art has been based on identity, story telling, in essence my "becoming"--an artist, a designer, a student of life. What I love most about creating art is getting charged-up about an idea/concept, translating experience into imagery, when the work comes together as a whole and portrays what I am trying to say, and especially if it makes a social impact on the viewer.
